Walt Jr. is swapping crystal meth for DJ decks, with the actor behind the Breaking Bad character, RJ Mitte, set to play an event in New York¡­ aptly named Breaking Beats.

While a little left of field, his DJ spot on the Breaking Bad themed event line up isn¡¯t unprecedented, with some of the other cast dabbling in music. Last year, his cast mate Aaron Paul (aka Jesse Pinkman) recorded a tongue in cheek house track based around his character¡¯s signature catch phrase.

If you can¡¯t get to New York, but are missing the show ¨C you won¡¯t have to wait much longer to revisit at least one of the characters. Better Call Saul, the prequel to the hit series focusing on Saul Goodman, Walter White¡¯s morally corrupt attorney, will be aired in Australia on the new subscription VOD service, Stan on February 9.
