T-Pain Australian Tour 2014 – Enmore Theatre, Sydney

Two-time Grammy winner and hip-hop legend, T-Pain has announced that he will be returning to Australia this October for his I Am T-Pain tour.

He brought the vocoder to the mainstream, and now Nappy Boy will bring hits such as ‘Take Your Shirt Off’, ‘Buy You A Drank’ and ‘Booty Wurk’ to Aussie fans in Bendigo, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Broome.

The tour comes ahead of the release of the rapper’s fifth album, Stoicville: The Phoenix, which is set to drop later this year. However, the 28-year-old recently gave fans a taste of the album in the form of second single, ‘Drankin’ Patna’. The synth-heavy, R & B track is the follow up to last year’s ‘Up Down (Do This All Day)’ featuring B.o.B. As the accompanying music video has already clocked over 28 million views, it seems like fans just can’t get enough.

With a career spanning over a decade, and four albums under his bedazzled belt, the top hat-toting, grill-wearing rapper will have plenty of musical dimes to pull out of his hat. He will be also joined on the road by Sydney’s DJ Nino Brown, Lazy J, YMS (Young Men Society), Mistah Mez (feat Dj Libre) and Flygirl Tee.

Tickets are on sale now. So to get your hands on what can only be described as a hip-hop night of nights, check below.

Porter Robinson – Splendour In The Grass Sideshows

Following the success of this year’s Coachella Festival, Porter Robinson will remain on this festival high for Australia’s Splendour in the Grass. In addition to his Friday set at the festival, Porter Robinson will also be performing sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne with a whole new sound.

Known for his upbeat, electronic dance DJ sets, the American Producer will be trying something different for Australian shows off the back of his debut album Worlds. Instead of sampling other musicians, Robinson’s sets will only feature his own samples and tracks, with live instrumental performances.
