Word on the street is that Nicki Minaj will drop her forthcoming album The Pink Print this November.

According to Billboard, the album is set for release on November 28. Although the tracklist for the album is yet to be confirmed, the ¡®Super Bass¡¯ rapper has recently given fans a taste of the album¡¯s flavour, unveiling her catchy Dr Luke produced track ¡®Pills N Potions¡¯ and ¡®80s-sounding ¡®Anaconda¡¯.

Despite keeping album details under lock and key, Minaj has revealed that the record will feature production from Dr Luke, Da Internz, Polow Da Don, Cirkut and Detail.

¡°The album will definitely be out in the fourth quarter of the year¡± the rapper told Carson Daily on 97.1 AMP Radio. ¡°I just have to say that, I¡¯m at such a different place as a human being. I know artists say that all the time but now I understand why. Nothing really surprises me anymore. I handle things more maturely. Just writing wise I can put my thoughts together better I feel.¡±

She went on to say that she is exploring new lyrical territory with her new music, teasing that there are plenty of surprises up her sleeve.

¡°Sonically I think the album sounds so amazing,¡± she added. ¡°And there are so many surprises on the album. I had Drake come by the studio the other day and he was like ¡®Oh my god, you¡¯re talking about new stuff, I¡¯m so proud of you.¡¯ And that¡¯s what I¡¯m most excited about. I¡¯m speaking about new things on this album. I¡¯m excited, I¡¯m not allowing anyone else to define what the album is going to be.¡±

A direct reference to Jay Z¡¯s 2001 album The Blue Print, the sassy MC¡¯s latest effort will mark the third album to her name, and is the follow up to 2012¡¯s Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

Two weeks ago, Minaj released her ¡®Anaconda¡¯ music video. Featuring samples from Sir Mix-A-Lot¡¯s ¡®80s hit ¡®Baby Got Back¡¯, Minaj certainly isn¡¯t shy about booty-bouncing and twerking in her G-string. An ode to women with curves, the clip has already garnered over 138 million views. Public opinion is still varied, but one thing is for sure, music hasn¡¯t seen this type of backlash since Miley Cyrus twerked on Robin Thicke at last year¡¯s MTV VMAs.

The rhyme-spitting queen of rap also announced that she will embark on a worldwide tour next year in support of her new album, ¡°We¡¯re actually going to start the tour at the top of 2015, we¡¯re going to start a European run and then we will back in America for a summer run ¡± said Minaj.

There is no word as to whether she will be bringing The Pink Print Tour to Australia as of yet. However, keep your ears and eyes peeled, as she might decide to twerk her way Down Under in the near future.
