Aussie hip-hop heavyweights Hilltop Hoods have announced a run of dates across the country to promote their highly anticipated seventh album, Walking Under The Stars.
The rhyme-spitting trio will play 21 dates across this great southern land this October, in both capital cities and rural towns, as part of their Cosby Sweater Australian Tour.
Their first release since 2012¡¯s Drinking From The Sun, Hilltop Hoods¡¯ latest effort marks a more mature sound for the trio. Featuring mellowed vocal delivery and a subdued tone; the release topped the ARIA Album Charts for yet another week.
The Adelaide lads are not alone, however, they¡¯re bringing local hip-hop act Thundamentals along for the ride. Riding high from the success of recently released third album, So We Can Remember, Thundamentals will be the ideal accompaniment to Hilltop Hoods¡¯ tastes. Also joining the hip-hop smorgasbord will be Golden Era Record¡¯s newest pups K21, who will unveil a run of fresh beats, as well as their upcoming debut single.
After sold-out tours in Europe, New Zealand and the UK earlier this year, as well as their stint at Splendour In The Grass, which was believed to be the largest crowd in the festival¡¯s history, Hilltop Hoods will embark on their first headline tour in two years.
Tickets go on sale to the general public this Monday September 1. There is a reason the Hilltop Hoods are considered the pioneers of Australia¡¯s ever-growing hip-hop scene. So to see for yourself, check below for more details.
