Lights! Camera! Action! Sylvester Stallone¡¯s explosive film The Expendables 3 has unveiled a new trailer, and it¡¯s not holding back on the action.

It¡¯s ¡°the biggest, baddest action movie of all time.¡± Well, according to the film¡¯s newcomer Terry Crews.

The third installation of the franchise, which exploded onto movie screens in 2010, boasts an all-star lineup of actors, featuring veterans Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Swarzenegger and Jet Li. This time around, they are teaming up with newcomers Antonio Banderas and Harrison Ford to save a group of young stars, which include Twilight¡¯s Kellan Lutz and Ronda Rousey, from the villainous Stonebanks (Mel Gibson).

In the trailer, we see The Expendables co-founder turned villain, Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson) taking on Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Stratham) and the rest of the team. ¡°We were close once. We started this whole Expendables thing together, but we had a falling out¡± says Stonebanks. However, with younger and more tech-savvy additions to the team, Stonebanks has met his match. Cue explosions, helicopters and shoot offs. The team has reloaded (pun intended) the franchise, and if the trailer is anything to go by, it will probably melt the face off any action movie fan out there.

Meanwhile, it seems that the biggest battle over The Expendables 3 won¡¯t be appearing on the big screen, but in courtrooms. Following the leak of the movie online, Lionsgate is coming at torrent sites; metaphorical guns blazing.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lionsgate is going after Limetorrents, Billionuploads, Hulfile, Played, Swantshare and Dotsemper, to stop them from making the film available via their sites. Not only this, but they are aiming to get their domains ¡°locked,¡± and recall and recover all pirated copies of the movie. It is yet to be confirmed whether the suit will target users who downloaded the film.

The Expendables 3 hits Australian cinemas on August 14.
