American prog-metal outfit Dream Theater will return to Aussie shores for a two-date tour, which will see the band play in Sydney and Melbourne this October as part of An Evening With Dream Theater Tour.

The tour marks the band¡¯s first visit Down Under in five years, meaning the five-piece will bring two more studio albums, 2011¡¯s A Dramatic Turn Of Events and 2013¡äs self-titled album, to Australian fans. Dream Theater¡¯s latest addition, drummer Mike Mangini, will also be joining the band for their short Australian visit.

With a near three-hour set, Dream Theater will bring their musical proficiency and technical wizardry to Aussie stages ¨C a setlist which will undoubtedly include tracks such as ¡®Pull Me Under¡¯ and ¡®Caught In A Web¡¯ from their exhaustive back catalogue.
