Chris Brown has been released from prison, after spending nearly four months behind bars.
According to a Los Angeles County Sherriff¡¯s deputy, the 25-year-old was released from Los Angeles County jail at 12:01am on Monday (June 2).

The R&B singer has been in custody since mid-March for a parole violation tied to his expulsion from a court-ordered rehab facility.

On May 9, Brown was sentenced to a further 131 days in the click after admitting to L.A. Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin that he was involved in an altercation outside a Washington, D.C. hotel.

The ¡®Run It¡¯ singer served a total of 108 days in jail. He was initially sentenced to one year in jail, however, he received credit for nearly eight months already served in jail and court-ordered rehab.
Shortly after his release, Brown took to Twitter to express his gratitude. Tweeting to his 13.5 million followers: ¡°Humbled and Blessed,¡± ¡°Back to the Music and the Fans,¡± and ¡°Thank you GOD.¡±

His stint behind bars may be over, however he must still complete the remaining 800 hours of the 1,000 hours of community service he was given last August as part of his probation Not only this, but the singer will be required to see a psychiatrist two times a week, submit to random drug testing at least three times a week and take appropriate medication (not of the marijuana variety).

Brown has been on probation since his infamous assault on pop singer, and then-girlfriend, Rhianna in 2009. Since, it would seem, the Grammy-winning singer has found it difficult to stay out of trouble, switching between prisons and rehab.

Brown¡¯s probation has been extended until January 23, 2015 and he is due back in court in August for a progress report. So, hopefully he can keep that temper under control for the sake of his music, and give fans something to say Yeah X3 about!
