Skrillex teased his Australian fans a few months ago by proclaiming that he had been working alongside Australian EDM superstar Flume on a host of new tracks.

Sonny Moore (a.k.a Skrillex) told Triple J¡¯s Veronica and Lewis that ¡°Flume is coming into the studio tomorrow¡± and that ¡°maybe we¡¯ll make something, who knows?¡±, but neither artist confirmed that any action took place. Until now that is¡

According to Skrillex, him and Flume did a ¡°couple of records¡±, and ¡°a lot of them are finished¡±, but will only release them ¡°when the time is right¡±.

¡°We did some back to back sets in Australia and we just have fun playing and making music together. It just kind of naturally happened,¡±

Moore also spoke about his new full-length feature Recess, which will be released through his own app Alien Ride.

¡°I recorded like forty tracks for the album ¨C not all of it is finished. I wanted to put out something that had decibels, and dynamics as far as a record goes. I didn¡¯t just want to put out bangers.¡±

Speaking about his collaboration with Chance the Rapper, Skrillex said he thinks the new single ¡°Coast Is Clear¡± will shock the people.

¡°It¡¯s weird because I think it will shock people right away. I think you hear it the first time and it¡¯s like ¡®what the f-ck is this?¡¯ But Chance just rides over it and it¡¯s so elegant and awesome. It just happened so naturally.¡±

¡°We were hanging out at this show in Seattle and we ended up going back to the studio and cutting the whole record that night.

¡°In the context of the record, there were enough bangers already, and I wanted to do something completely different¡ it lives in its own world.¡±
