The Strokes’ Julian Casablancas Releases New Song For She’s Lost Control Film

The Strokes front-man Julian Casablancas’ new song, ‘Human Sadness’ has finally been released online… and boy have we being waiting for it!

The song is on the soundtrack for the US indie film She’s Lost Control, which will make its debut at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas this coming March.

The film follows the story of a therapist who teaches men to be intimate with their partners before falling for one of her clients.

Casablancas announced that he was involved in the film all the way back in 2012. When the film finally got strong financial backing, the singer said he would provide and promote the music in the film. He worked alongside the film’s composer and executive producer Simon Taufique, who he said would promise to help as a favour.
