Rick Ross is suing LMFAO for copyright infringement despite the duo no longer working together. According to reports by Rolling Stones, Ross has claimed that the duo of Redfoo and SkyBlu stole the famous lyrics ¡°Everyday I¡¯m shufflin¡± from Rick Ross¡¯s own ¡°Everyday I¡¯m hustlin¡±.

LMFAO¡¯s lyrics came from the hugely popular track ¡°Party Rock Anthem¡±, which was released in 2011. The track hit the number one spot in 12 countries across the globe (even hitting 13x Platinum in Australia).

Rick Ross is claiming that the boys ripped off his 2006 track ¡°Hustlin¡¯¡± with the lawsuit saying that it was ¡°an obvious attempt to capitalize on the fame and success of Hustlin¡± and ¡°constitutes the creation of an unauthorized derivative work.¡±

The rapper has also promised that he is seeking ¡°maximum statutory damages¡± for the infringement.
LMFAO are no longer working together, but did promise to return soon and be back better than ever before. They have not responded to the claims by Ross yet, but we can be sure they will comment soon.
