A fan has fallen from a lighting rig during A$AP Rocky¡¯s New Year¡¯s Eve performance at the Origin Festival in Perth.

The incident was caught live on camera, when a fan scaled the lighting rig onstage in a bid to be part of the action. The fan managed to sneak passed security, who then cleared the way for the unnamed fan, so no fellow fans or organizers would be harmed when he fell.

In video footage of the incident, A$AP Rocky notices the man on the rig and begs for him to come down: ¡°Oh shit, kid. Come on man, be careful¡ Somebody help this kid before he kills himself.¡±

When the man fell, a shocked A$AP Rocky remarked if the kid was okay, before he was hauled off by security.

According to The West Australian, the man¡¯s injuries are ¡°serious but not life threatening¡±. But festival organiser and Horizons Touring director Saran Bajaj said that organisers were disappointed with the man¡¯s actions.

Bajaj commented: ¡°We are really upset at the guy¡¯s behavior. Slipping past security to go up there was really irresponsible and unfair on the crowd.¡±
