Lorde And Flume To Team-Up!

Kiwi songstress Lorde is teaming up with Australia’s hottest producer, Flume.

In a recent interview, the 16-year old star took time out of the tour to talk to triple j‘s The Doctor, stating that the duo is set to work together in the coming future.

“I met Harley and he’s great,” said Lorde. “He sent me a bunch of beats, but then I had to start promoting the record and everything got a bit mental. I’m definitely open to [hooking up] on something like that though.”

News of a collaboration between the duo surfaced back in August, after the two twittered each other back and forth. In that avalanche of messages Flume tweeted “Great idea, lets write some music together.”

Lorde responded with a “bangerzzz” and rumours of them working together is no surprise with both the artists being handled by the same PR firm, Bossy.

Porter Robinson – Splendour In The Grass Sideshows

Following the success of this year’s Coachella Festival, Porter Robinson will remain on this festival high for Australia’s Splendour in the Grass. In addition to his Friday set at the festival, Porter Robinson will also be performing sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne with a whole new sound.

Known for his upbeat, electronic dance DJ sets, the American Producer will be trying something different for Australian shows off the back of his debut album Worlds. Instead of sampling other musicians, Robinson’s sets will only feature his own samples and tracks, with live instrumental performances.
