After a wave of rumors and dropping hints and tweets, Aussie pop rockers New Empire has confirmed that they are planning to tour the country! The ¡°Say It Like You Mean It Tour¡± will kick off in Newcaslte on the 18th of October, before making its way around to Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane and finishing up in Eumundi.

The tour will follow on from the band¡¯s third studio album ¡®In A Breath¡¯ which will be out later this month. Unsurprisingly, the name of the tour comes from the band¡¯s first single from the album ¡®Say It Like You Mean It¡± which at this moment is streaming around the country.

The album is the first since 2011¡¯s ¡®Symmetry¡¯, which received critical acclaim from around the globe by music heavyweights AOL, Kill Your Stereo, Smack Guide, ArtistDirect, Pure Volume and Channel V.

¡®In A Breath¡¯ will look to continue the band¡¯s hot form, with the group looking to other rock icons such as The Cure for inspiration. Principal songwriter, Jeremy Fowler said that the single, ¡®Say It Like You Mean It¡¯, was about finding their way home.

¡°I have found emptiness in shallow cliques and self-idolization and I have found a deep desire for purpose, adventure and wisdom. This song is about finding our way home,¡± said Fowler.

Tickets for the tour are on sale right now from Moshtix.com and Ticketek.com, depending on where you¡¯re planning to see the band. Unfortunately, this is strictly an 18+ concert (except if you live in Brisbane!) so if you¡¯re lucky enough to make it, don¡¯t miss out on grabbing your tickets!
