Cat Cavelli Backed By Perez Hilton

Cat Cavelli

British starlet Cat Cavelli received quite an endorsement of her talents when she was championed by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.

The 22 year old is an up-and-comer in the music world and her breakout single ‘Cruel Melody‘ was promoted on Hilton’s popular celebrity gossip website.

The song is a confident stride with distorted beats, edgy vocals and a super-addictive chorus, which means sooner or later, expect ‘Cruel Melody‘ to be playing on the radio waves 24/7.

It also means that a major recording label will hook up Cavelli. In the past, the singer has rejected offers to sign up with any music mogul, to instead focus on artistic beats. But gathering from this beat, expect them to come stomping on her front door soon.

Porter Robinson – Splendour In The Grass Sideshows

Following the success of this year’s Coachella Festival, Porter Robinson will remain on this festival high for Australia’s Splendour in the Grass. In addition to his Friday set at the festival, Porter Robinson will also be performing sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne with a whole new sound.

Known for his upbeat, electronic dance DJ sets, the American Producer will be trying something different for Australian shows off the back of his debut album Worlds. Instead of sampling other musicians, Robinson’s sets will only feature his own samples and tracks, with live instrumental performances.
