Paramore Australian Tour 2014 – Brisbane Entertainment Centre

Paramore Australian Tour 2014

Paramore have confirmed that they will be returning to Australia in January 2014. The Tennessee trio will stop for performances in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and finally Perth.

This upcoming tour will be their second visit to Australia, following their performance at the Soundwave Festival as well as a host of sideshows in February, in what has been a massive year for the Hayley Williams-led group.

In April this year, they released their first album without the original band members Josh and Zac Faro. The album was duly titled Paramore and symbolizes the rebirth of the band without the Faro brothers.

The album has received widespread acclaim from critics and fans with the Alternative Press calling it a “sprawling, 17-song, 64-minute monster that is without a doubt the finest music these three artists have ever made.”

Most notably, the singles Now, Still Into You and Ain’t It Fun have been hits across the radio and Paramore reaching numero uno on the ARIA Charts.

On their latest tour, British bands You Me At Six and Twenty One Pilots will join Paramore as supporting acts. Tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public from Thursday, 22nd August 2013.

Porter Robinson – Splendour In The Grass Sideshows

Following the success of this year’s Coachella Festival, Porter Robinson will remain on this festival high for Australia’s Splendour in the Grass. In addition to his Friday set at the festival, Porter Robinson will also be performing sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne with a whole new sound.

Known for his upbeat, electronic dance DJ sets, the American Producer will be trying something different for Australian shows off the back of his debut album Worlds. Instead of sampling other musicians, Robinson’s sets will only feature his own samples and tracks, with live instrumental performances.
