Stereosonic 2013 Line Up & Dates… How Can We Not Mention It?

Just as things couldn’t get any bigger, Stereosonic announced that they would be giving their roaring fans “the greatest EDM line-up Australian has ever seen” as well as a expanding to a two-day show, the music festival which opens the summer, has announced their insanely huge line for 2013!

And yes, its sad for those under the age of 18, but with an line-up this impressive, how can we not mention it? You just wish you turned 18 before his bad boy comes around!

So where to begin? Well, what about the biggest DJs around the world. Trance god, Armin Van Buuren will be back, following his 2011 sets. He will be joined by pop-magnet David Guetta, following on the success of his 2011 album ‘Nothing But The Beat’.

They will be joined by Scottish sensation, Calvin Harris, after his ridiculous hot streak over the last two years, following the release of his EP, ’18 Months’ which featured the hits, ‘You Found Love’, ‘Sweet Nothing’, ‘I Need Your Love’ and ‘We’ll Be Coming Back For You’!

Of course that is not all. Empire Of The Sun is back on the set after releasing their album, ‘Ice On The Dune’ a mere three weeks ago, which features their chart hit, ‘Alive’.

The quartet will be joined by a host of ‘A’ rated superstars in the EDM world, including Above & Beyond, Axwell, Afrojax and Alesso. And the list keeps going and going.

The Bloody Beetroots, will be joined by Hip-Hop mantras Labrinth and Nicky Romero, with Stafford Brothers set to make the festival party long into the night.

Nero will be making his return to the stage and will be joined by Dog Blood and Boys Noize. And there will be joy for house enthusiasts with Lee Foss, Jamie Jones, Maceo Plex and Solomun coming down to hit the festival!

The biggest festival in Australia will be held across five major cities, starting in Sydney, before making their way to Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane.

Tickets for the two-day spectacular will be on sale on Thursday August 1st from Ticketmaster.

Olly Murs’ ‘Never Been Better Tour’ is coming to Australia

Internationally acclaimed UK pop star Olly Murs has excited Aussie fans with the news he will be returning in August for a nation-wide tour. Promoting his fourth album Never Been Better, Murs will kick off the tour in Perth before heading to Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney.

Porter Robinson – Splendour In The Grass Sideshows

Following the success of this year’s Coachella Festival, Porter Robinson will remain on this festival high for Australia’s Splendour in the Grass. In addition to his Friday set at the festival, Porter Robinson will also be performing sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne with a whole new sound.

Known for his upbeat, electronic dance DJ sets, the American Producer will be trying something different for Australian shows off the back of his debut album Worlds. Instead of sampling other musicians, Robinson’s sets will only feature his own samples and tracks, with live instrumental performances.
