Skins actress Kaya Scodelario has admitted that she would be tempted to play the sexy adventurer and gaming wonder, Lara Croft after rumors of a reboot of Tomb Raider were reported.

Scodelario, told Total Film, that she had no idea where the rumors linking her to replace Angeline Jolie for the role originated, but did say the project would be ¡°fun¡± and ¡°tempting¡±.

¡°I don¡¯t know where the fuck that¡¯s come from! Imagine having to take over from Angelina Jolie ¨C you just couldn¡¯t, could you? My auntie rang me up and was like, ¡®Kaya, I¡¯ve just seen on Google that¡¡¯ I¡¯d literally not heard a whisper about that, at all.

¡°Would I be tempted? A little bit. That would be quite fun. Give me a couple of years to get my fitness up first, and then maybe I¡¯ll tackle that one, but I¡¯ve no idea where that¡¯s come from at all.¡±

The rumors of her appointment came after MGM were planning to relaunch the series, following the successful rebooting of the game franchise. Earlier this year, Tomb Raider, was rebooted with a more darker and realistic theme and has received critical acclaim from gaming critics.

If a reboot in the works, it would be the third film in the Tomb Raider series, following the Jolie-led films Tomb Raider, release in 2001 and its 2003 sequel The Cradle Of Life.

Scodelario isn¡¯t the only name being mentioned as a potential Lara Croft with Hayley Atwell, who appeared in Captain America: The First Avenger as the captain¡¯s love interest Peggy Carter, being mentioned in an online campaign.

¡°There¡¯s also some kind of online campaign for me to do Tomb Raider Reborn, which I know has just come out as a computer game,¡± Atwell said back in April.

¡°MGM have the rights to make it into a film, which would be fantastic to do because I¡¯d get to spend a year of my life training hard and pick up all sorts of fantastic fun skills.¡±
