Grunge overloads Pearl Jam are rumored to be touring Australia in either late 2013 or early 2014!

It comes on the back of the rock gods announcing their North American tour, with rumors that that the band is coming down under according to Triple-M music reporter, Nui Te Koha.

¡°Pearl Jam is back on the tour radar for early next year. There are several promoters trying to lure them down here. I dare say they will be very successful. Pearl Jam loves it down here.¡±

Of course, this doesn¡¯t confirm that Pearl Jam will definitely turn up in Australia. Te Koha has made some real doozies in the past, saying that Blink 182 and Limp Bizkit would be coming for Big Day Out in 2010 and The Black Keys were coming down for last year¡¯s Splendour In The Grass.

If the rumors are true, the tour will be an epic beast, since it will be first time since 2009 when Eddie Vedder and co, were touring the land of OZ.

However, there are some solid concrete stories coming out of Pearl Jam camp, with July 16th being the date that the band releases its new single, ¡®Mind Your Manners¡¯, which will be part of album number 10 for the band.

The follow-up to 2009¡¯s Backspacer will be released sometime this year after guitarist Mike McCready told Rolling Stones that the album is ¡°halfway done¡±. ¡°I think that¡¯s true ¨C we have seven songs that are relatively completed. But then we have an additional 15 ready to go aside from any that Eddie brings in, so we¡¯ll weed through those.¡±
