Tickets for Muse¡¯s Australian tour has literally just gone on sale and presto, organisers have announced a new Melbourne show thanks to the overwhelming demand.

Melbourne¡¯s Rod Laver Arena will once again play host to the band, with the second show set to be held on Saturday the 7th of December with tickets set to go on sale at 1pm today.

This is the only new addition to the Australian tour, but given how quickly organisers were determined to put on another show, don¡¯t be surprised if more shows are announced in the future.

The band is coming off the release of their sixth studio album The 2nd Law, which has been met with critical acclaim, while Q Magazine has called their concerts ¡°the greatest show on earth¡±.

Muse¡¯s shows have become something of a ground-breaker with over the top performances, a legion of up to 140 crew members working behind the scenes, the use of 26 equipment trucks, bomb-sized pyrotechnics and even a 333kg robot named Charles.

It will be the first time Muse were in Australian since the 2010 Big Day Out Festival and with the tour is an all-ages event so everyone has the chance to witness one of the most popular bands of our generation.

Australia¡¯s own Birds Of Tokyo will be supporting the rockers, who are on a hot run of their own following the release of the hit single, ¡®Lanterns¡¯.
