Loud Fest To Tour Nationally In 2013 – Featuring Alesana, Confession And More!

Loud Fest has returned in 2013 for its third year and will for the first time in its short yet exciting history will be touring nationally.

This year the tour will travel to Brisbane and Adelaide for the first time, after only being a standalone show in Sydney in 2011, and visiting Melbourne last year.

For the tour this year, US rockers Alesana will headline Sydney’s Loud Fest and Melbourne five-piece Confession set to headline the other shows across the country.

Alesana will be showcasing their latest work from their fifth studio album while Confession are continuing on their sweet run of form with live shows, after being part of this year’s Soundwave Festival and the release of their new single, “This Is A War“.

Also joining the line-up in Sydney are US death metal rockers Attila, fresh from their stint of the US leg of the Vans Warped Tour and a host of shows featuring the likes of Hand Of Mercy, Saviour, Feed Her To The Sharks, For All Eternity, Hellions, Storm The Sky, Stories, The Sweet Apes and Elegist.

In the previous years, Loud Fest has hosted some of the very best in hardcore rock music, including the likes of Northlane, Buried In Verona, In Hearts Wake, Dream On Dreamer and House vs Hurricane.

Olly Murs’ ‘Never Been Better Tour’ is coming to Australia

Internationally acclaimed UK pop star Olly Murs has excited Aussie fans with the news he will be returning in August for a nation-wide tour. Promoting his fourth album Never Been Better, Murs will kick off the tour in Perth before heading to Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney.

Porter Robinson – Splendour In The Grass Sideshows

Following the success of this year’s Coachella Festival, Porter Robinson will remain on this festival high for Australia’s Splendour in the Grass. In addition to his Friday set at the festival, Porter Robinson will also be performing sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne with a whole new sound.

Known for his upbeat, electronic dance DJ sets, the American Producer will be trying something different for Australian shows off the back of his debut album Worlds. Instead of sampling other musicians, Robinson’s sets will only feature his own samples and tracks, with live instrumental performances.
