Jackie Onassis Announces First National Tour!

Sydney based Aussie hip-hop duo Jackie Onassis have revealed their plans for their first ever headlining Australian Tour, Smoke Trails.

The duo, made up of lyricist Kai Tan and beats production master, Raphael Dixon, are announcing their tour, hot off their run across some of the biggest music festivals, including London & Brighton’s own the Great Escape Festival, Big Day Out, the Come Together Festival and the release of their debut EP album Holiday.

The album has received overwhelmingly critical acclaim with many critics highlighting the Raphael’s lush synths and electronica samples combining beautifully with Tan’s rich, addictive and sharp lyrics. said the “assured, crisp, fresh” sound made “Holiday the best debut we’ve heard from a pair of young, male Sydneysiders”.

Theaureview said that “Jackie Onassis are in a position to shoot straight to the top of local hip-hop rankings and their adaptive style will undoubtedly set them apart from their contemporaries.”

The single Crystal Balling has been well received around the globe after being given the thumbs up by BBC Radio 1′s Zane Lowe and triple j Unearthed overlord Dave Ruby-Howe.

Olly Murs’ ‘Never Been Better Tour’ is coming to Australia

Internationally acclaimed UK pop star Olly Murs has excited Aussie fans with the news he will be returning in August for a nation-wide tour. Promoting his fourth album Never Been Better, Murs will kick off the tour in Perth before heading to Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney.

Following the success of this year’s Coachella Festival, Porter Robinson will remain on this festival high for Australia’s Splendour in the Grass. In addition to his Friday set at the festival, Porter Robinson will also be performing sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne with a whole new sound.

Known for his upbeat, electronic dance DJ sets, the American Producer will be trying something different for Australian shows off the back of his debut album Worlds. Instead of sampling other musicians, Robinson’s sets will only feature his own samples and tracks, with live instrumental performances.
