Big Day Out 2014 Line Up And Ticket Release Dates Announced

Australia’s biggest music festival Big Day Out has officially put the word out on when tickets for the 2014 tour will come out, as well as mentioning how they plan to reveal a “lineup to end all lineups”.

Big Day Out has formally confirmed that they will announce the line-up on the evening of Wednesday the 31st of July. They’ve told us to tell you, the fans, you should plug your ears on the radio or eyes on the Internet as they announced the line-up at exactly 8pm.

Fans who can’t wait can jump on the official Big Day Out website, where they can sign up for a membership and get exclusive pre-sale tickets on Thursday the 1st of August. Fans can also run to their closest General Pants Co. store to grab Big Day Out’s “limited souvenir tickets”.

General admission tickets will be on sale the following week. Tickets to the Gold Coast leg of the tour will be released on the 7th of August at 9am. Whilst Sydney punters will have access to tickets on the 8th of August and Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth to get access on the 10th of August. Tickets are set to cost $185.00

So get ready and lock yourself in for the 31st of July to listen to the “lineup to end all lineups”. If they are going with that tagline, it’s going to be huge!

Following the success of this year’s Coachella Festival, Porter Robinson will remain on this festival high for Australia’s Splendour in the Grass. In addition to his Friday set at the festival, Porter Robinson will also be performing sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne with a whole new sound.

Known for his upbeat, electronic dance DJ sets, the American Producer will be trying something different for Australian shows off the back of his debut album Worlds. Instead of sampling other musicians, Robinson’s sets will only feature his own samples and tracks, with live instrumental performances.
