The UK¡¯s unstoppable force and immovable object, Bastille have announced they will be performing for their beloved fans in two close-captioned gigs in Sydney and Melbourne, this August.

Bastille will be playing their first show at the Metro Theatre, in Sydney, on Wednesday the 14th of August, before heading to the Corner Hotel on Friday the 16th August in Melbourne. Unfortunately the rest of Australia will be unlucky to miss out on what promises to be a fantastic set of shows!

The band is coming off a hot-run of success, with their debut album, Bad Blood, enjoying a rousing reception from critics and fans, as well as stellar sales records with over a quarter of a million units sold in their homeland alone. The album has two critically acclaimed singles on it, the roaring, Pompeii and the up-and-coming, Laura Palmer.

Pompeii has been a huge hit on the airwaves and has smashed into double-platinum figures, while Laura Palmer has slowly but surely crept up the ARIA charts ladder and don¡¯t be shocked if it starts to dominate the radio waves.

Sydney crew, Tigertown, will support the band for their two shows. Tickets are on sale from 2pm Tuesday the 25th June to 2pm AEST Wednesday, 26th June for Frontier Members pre-sale.

For those unlucky ones, tickets for the general public will be on sale from 9am on Thursday, 27th June. Tickets can be purchased from www.ticketek.com.au or www.cornerhotel.com.au (for Melbourne show only)
