Lamb Of God & Meshuggah Australian Tour

Lamb Of God Australian Tour

Well, it’s a thrilling day for heavy metal fans with Lamb Of God and Swedish rock band Meshuggah announcing their Australian tour!

The duo of heavy metal rock bands will come down in September this year with a host of shows across the country, starting in Brisbane, before making their way to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and finishing off in Perth.

It will be Lamb Of God’s second trip to Australia, after touring around the country last year. However it comes after a controversial year for the band and its frontman, Randy Blythe. Blythe was acquitted of manslaughter in the Czech Republic this year following a horrific incident, which involved a young man’s death following a stage dive by Blythe during the show.

Blythe was detained during the court proceedings, before being allowed to leave the country. Since then, the hardcore rock group has continued to tour following the success of their latest album Resolution.

Meshuggah have had a less turbulent time during this period, and have continued their rick vein of form, since the ’90s, where their head-banging style was received with love from both fans and critics.

Their latest album, Koloss continues their thrilling style of music, and has pushed the band to take a tour across the globe.

Porter Robinson – Splendour In The Grass Sideshows

Following the success of this year’s Coachella Festival, Porter Robinson will remain on this festival high for Australia’s Splendour in the Grass. In addition to his Friday set at the festival, Porter Robinson will also be performing sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne with a whole new sound.

Known for his upbeat, electronic dance DJ sets, the American Producer will be trying something different for Australian shows off the back of his debut album Worlds. Instead of sampling other musicians, Robinson’s sets will only feature his own samples and tracks, with live instrumental performances.
