Passenger Australian Tour 2013 – Palais Theatre,Melbourne

passenger

Folk sensation, Passenger has just announced his second batch of Australian tours for the year!

After slaughtering the charts with his single, ‘Let Her Go’, which has topped the ARIA charts with a numero uno placing, and the success of his All The Little Lights album, which reached platinum status, Passenger has it clear that he’ll be doing the rounds across the country.

Passenger’s tours will be All-Aged with the exception of one show at the Tivoli in Brisbane on December the 6th, which will be a 18+ years event. The first date of the tour will be on the first of December in Adelaide, before making his way to Melbourne, two shows in Brisbane, then Sydney before finishing in Perth on the spooky Friday the 13th.

This is the second time he’ll be doing his own thing in Australia, following some headlining spots during his supporting tour of Ed Sheeran. However, this time he’s the main attraction – which highlights just how popular the man has become.

Tickets will be available from Wednesday the 29th of May at 9am from http://www.passengermusic.com

Porter Robinson – Splendour In The Grass Sideshows

Following the success of this year’s Coachella Festival, Porter Robinson will remain on this festival high for Australia’s Splendour in the Grass. In addition to his Friday set at the festival, Porter Robinson will also be performing sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne with a whole new sound.

Known for his upbeat, electronic dance DJ sets, the American Producer will be trying something different for Australian shows off the back of his debut album Worlds. Instead of sampling other musicians, Robinson’s sets will only feature his own samples and tracks, with live instrumental performances.
