After jumping the gun a month ago, it¡¯s finally been decided. Tickets, venue locations and more importantly, the Supafest 2013 line up have been announced.

The line up was revealed to the public, and confirmed a long-standing rumour that G-Unit hip-hop superstar 50 Cent will indeed make an appearance. He¡¯s set to join an incredible list of hip-hop talent, including Ti, Ne-Yo, Akon, J.Cole, Waka Flocka and Young Jeezy.

The rumour following 50 Cent started when DJ Whoo Kid, best known for his work with G-Unit announced on his Twitter account that, the rapper, famous for his ¡°Get Rich Or Die Tryin¡¯ album, was set to be in April this time. Coinicidently, the same dates as Supafest 2013.

The return of Supafest is a big act in itself, following the dramatic behind the scenes incidents that engulfed the 2012 edition.

Last year, P.Diddy and Missy Elliot withdrew from the line-up, following them hitting out at the promoters. Elliot claimed that she hadn¡¯t even been booked in the line-up in the first place.

Rapper Rick Ross even failed to turn up in the Brisbane for the first show. When asked why he wasn¡¯t in Brisbane and instead was spotted at a basketball game in Miami, he said that he was going because Supafest promoters failed to pay his fee.

This was followed by PaperChase Touring and Entertainment, the company behind Supfest being hit by numerous lawsuits over unpaid fees, amounting to a total of $2 million.

Promoter John Denison has avoided the limelight this time around and has worked hard with organisers to make up for last year¡¯s fiascos. However, fans and organisers will have to wait to see if this year¡¯s Supafest will continue it¡¯s success.

Tickets are $115 + BF for standard tickets with the special ¡®Bling Ring¡¯ tickets available for $210. Tickets are available at either www.ticketek.com.au and www.supafest.com.au
