Australia’s inaugural Movement Festival will be dishing out an incredible line up of hip-hop heavyweights, everyone from Grammy award winning rappers, to mixtape kings and local heroes.

The festival will be played over four rocking days over four of Australia’s biggest cities. Starting in Sydney on Friday the 26th of April, before heading to Melbourne on the 27th, Brisbane on the 28th and finishing up in Perth on the 30th of April.

Backed by American Hip hop legend, Nas, Movement 2013 will be catering to the ever-growing hip-hop foundation of Australia’s music scene. Nas has handpicked the best of hip-hop lineup from both local and international talent pools.

With more than 20 years in the business and often called the greatest rapper alive, Nas has brought together a host of talent, including Australia’s biggest Hip Hop group, as well as ARIA Award winners, Bliss N Eso.

Joining Nas and Bliss N Eso, are 2 Chainz, who has previously worked with Kanye West and Nicki Minaj.

Also Australian favorite, Chiddy Bang returns after ripping up the Parklife tour in 2012. The singer famous for his Opposite Of Adults, Mind Your Manners or Ray Charles singles will ensure draw an massive fan base to the hip-hop event of the year!

The lineup also includes local heroes Spit Syndicate and Thundamentals, as well as mix tape King and Queen, Joey Bada$$ and Angel Haze. Both are set to light the music world on fire with new albums in 2013.

Olly Murs’ ‘Never Been Better Tour’ is coming to Australia

Internationally acclaimed UK pop star Olly Murs has excited Aussie fans with the news he will be returning in August for a nation-wide tour. Promoting his fourth album Never Been Better, Murs will kick off the tour in Perth before heading to Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney.

Porter Robinson – Splendour In The Grass Sideshows

Following the success of this year’s Coachella Festival, Porter Robinson will remain on this festival high for Australia’s Splendour in the Grass. In addition to his Friday set at the festival, Porter Robinson will also be performing sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne with a whole new sound.

Known for his upbeat, electronic dance DJ sets, the American Producer will be trying something different for Australian shows off the back of his debut album Worlds. Instead of sampling other musicians, Robinson’s sets will only feature his own samples and tracks, with live instrumental performances.
