Kimbra Announces All Ages Show At The Entertainment Centre In Adelaide

Illusive and Frontier Touring by arrangement with Artist Voice and Outpost Management are extremely excited to announce the highly anticipated national tour for Kimbra! The five-date interstate jaunt brings the jetsetting Kiwi back to her adopted Australian home in May for her first solo tour in close to a year. The intimate affair will see Kimbra bring her acclaimed live show to limited-capacity venues for what is set to be one of the hottest tickets in town.

Kimbra
has spent the past year carving her name into the Australian psyche and has started to export her unique brand of Jazz infected POP to an eager global audience. During this time, she has released four hit singles – ‘Settle Down’, ‘Cameo Lover’, ‘Good Intent’ and ‘Two Way Street’ (all of which featured in triple j’s Hottest 100), a Platinum album – ‘Vows’, (she won the 2011 ARIA Award for Best Female Artist) joined forces with Gotye for ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ (the 8x Platinum colossus that has reached #1 in 11 countries and is currently streaking up the US Billboard chart), and taken the breath away from tens of thousands at Big Day Out, Splendour in the Grass and Parklife festivals. Oh, and she’s racked up tens of millions of views on YouTube in the process

Kimbra will be joined by another of the country’s most promising young artists – one Daniel Merriweather – who has taken the world by storm in recent years (including a Platinum album in the UK) with his impossibly smooth vocals and a little bit of help from long-time friend Mark Ronson. Now residing in New York, the ARIA Award winner returns home to give us a little taste of what’s to come from his long-awaited sophomore album.

In the months ahead, Kimbra will perform at some of SXSW’s most celebrated events before back-to-back US tours alongside Gotye and Foster the People. While she has already achieved more than most artists would dare dream of – it would appear as if it is only the beginning for the 21 year old Kimbra, whose trajectory is well and truly on track for worldwide superstardom. This is an opportunity that won’t be repeated anytime soon – don’t miss out!

Interview: Taylor Henderson Talks ‘Burnt Letters’ And 2014 Australian Tour

Since strapping on his guitar and walking off the X Factor stage last year – as the show’s runner-up – it has been quite a whirlwind for Taylor Henderson. Now, with a Sony Music record deal, two albums under his belt, an amalgamation of squealing fangirls and the top spot on this week’s ARIA Album Chart, the country boy turned rock star is one to watch.

Speaking with him over the phone, one can almost feel the excitement oozing from the sweet-spoken 21-year-old, whose sophomore album, Burnt Letters, was released last week. A follow-up to the singer’s 2013 self-titled debut album, Burnt Letters, reveals a much more intimate side of Henderson, as he bares all and flexes his creative musical muscles.

Daniel Radcliffe Says No To Movie Adaptation Of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter Update

Daniel Radcliffe has shouted ‘expelliarmus‘ at rumours that J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter where-are-they-now update will make it onto the big screen.

“My inclination is to say ‘no’ because I don’t think it’s even a hypothetical at the moment” Radcliffe told reporters during the Television Critics Association summer press tour.
