Breakout Under18s – Sydney

Illusive and Totem Onelove are extremely excited to announce the birth of a brand new under 18s festival brand – BREAKOUT – and its inaugural events in Melbourne and Sydney.

Breakout Melbourne will be taking place at Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Friday November 25th, with Sydney’s leg taking place across Hordern Pavilion and Byron Kennedy Hall on Friday December 2nd.

The first two acts to be announced for the festival are LA’s multi-platinum party rocking duo LMFAO and skyrocketing local hip-hop enigma 360. The dance and urban-heavy festival will continue to announce headlining acts each day this week at 4pm (AEST) via its website ( and social networks. Breakout organisers promise some of the globe’s biggest names and are expecting both events to break records for an under 18s event in Australia. The festival will feature multiple stages and a number of yet-to-be-announced attractions.

The world class line-up will speak for itself once all has been revealed on Friday and will leave no question that the festival is unlike anything experienced by the under 18s market in this region, ever. It is set to be a truly historical party for the youth of this generation.

Early bird tickets to both events will be available from 9am (AEST) on Wednesday September 14th and are sure to be snapped up in an instant.

Porter Robinson – Splendour In The Grass Sideshows

Following the success of this year’s Coachella Festival, Porter Robinson will remain on this festival high for Australia’s Splendour in the Grass. In addition to his Friday set at the festival, Porter Robinson will also be performing sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne with a whole new sound.

Known for his upbeat, electronic dance DJ sets, the American Producer will be trying something different for Australian shows off the back of his debut album Worlds. Instead of sampling other musicians, Robinson’s sets will only feature his own samples and tracks, with live instrumental performances.
