Fans have waited a long time, but finally Miami’s Thick As Blood are heading to Australia for a run of shows across the country this June. Their brand of hardcore merges metal elements like crushing riffs with brutally honest lyrics, which has seen them take the hardcore world by storm. Joining them on all dates will be Newcastle’s Taken By Force.

Thick As Blood have been building a loyal following since 2004 with two releases on prominent hardcore label Eulogy. Couple that with a hard hitting live show that has seen them tour with the likes of Every Time I Die, Emmure and Terror, and Thick As Blood are a force to be reckoned with. To top it off, the band recently entered the studio with Terror’s Nick Jett to record for their Rise Records debut, due out later this year.

Formed in 2009, Taken By Force take fast, hard-hitting riffs and add uncompromising vocals to create an in your face style of hardcore. Having cut their teeth playing with Newcastle icons like Dropsaw and The Dead Walk, the band recorded their debut album, Taking Back What’s Mine. This release saw them play with heavy-hitting internationals like Death Before Dishonor, Backtrack and Emmure. Now the band is preparing for a follow up EP and continue playing their aggressive hardcore all over the country.

This combination of bands will prove to be one of the most legit hardcore tours of 2012. Dust off your camo and head along to one of the shows when they launch an assault across Australia.

The Frontier Touring Company is excited to announce Ed Sheeran’s first run of headline shows in Australia and New Zealand!

Sheeran’s unique amalgamation of acoustic music, folk and hip hop beats has earned the red-haired performer fans across the world in an impressive period of time.

Since dropping out of school at the age of 16, Sheeran has gigged persistently. In 2009 alone, he performed an incredible 312 gigs throughout the UK and Ireland.

This perseverance and determination also translates into Sheeran’s prolific songwriting. The industrious songwriter wrote his first EP at the ripe age of 14 with more following before the release of his debut studio album, + (out now through Warner).

Released in 2011, + propelled Sheeran to the eyes and ears of the mainstream who fell in love with the performer’s soulful voice and innate ability to write from the heart.

“Throughout this marvellous album you can suss what the fuss is all about: Sheeran upends the singer-songwriter aesthetic by injecting an equal parts hyperkinetic and silver-tongued delivery that embraces white-boy hip-hop” – Irish Times

The album has produced three incredible singles, including You Need Me‘, I Don’t Need You, Lego House and the 3x Platinum ARIA selling debut single ‘The A Team’.

“The song is a dark yet overwhelmingly tuneful slice of jazz-folk. Built on palm-muted guitars and a simmering string arrangement… Sheeran has an unflinching eye for subtle details and colorful imagery, and his music is full of soulful vocal runs and patient atmosphere.” – Billboard.com

A credit to his large and devoted online fan base, Sheeran’s YouTube channel has an impressive 196,000 subscribers who have racked up more than 96 million views to his music videos, tour diaries and exclusive performances.

It is no surprise that Sheeran has also received acclaim from some of the most prestigious and well respected members of the music community.

In the formative stages of his career, Sheeran came to the attention of singer and producer Jamie Foxx and was invited by Foxx to perform in LA. Sheeran later secured a deal with Elton John’s management company and supported Example on his UK tour.

At the age of 21, Sheeran has achieved what many performers could hope to achieve in a lifetime. This is clearly just the beginning for this committed and talented performer. Don’t miss the opportunity to witness the magic live when Ed Sheeran visits Australia and New Zealand this July.

Tour Dates:
Jul 29, 2012 - ASB Theatre, Auckland – All Ages

Simple Plan knows how to deliver in their live shows each and every time, proven in their most recent Australian shows last October:

“As the lights went down the band stepped out in front of a full house, with fans as young as twelve right through to those in their thirties ready to rock…An energetic, hit-filled night.” – MTV Australia

The band were so taken by their fans down under, they edited the tour footage to form a music video for ‘Summer Paradise’ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGCKALHIvRc) which had fans all over the country pleading for their return to our shores.

Known for their dynamic, energetic and entertaining live performances, Simple Plan’s recent shows in their homeland of Canada were no exception,

“Bouvier and his bandmates returned the love with a fun and fast-paced 90-minute show jumping, twirling, chasing each other around, and diving off stage like they were a pack of hyperactive high-school students in their first band.” – Edmonton Journal, Canada

Since their formation in 1999 and amidst the multiplatinum releases, sold out headline tours and numerous awards Simple Plan have always made one thing clear – their music is all about the fans.

Simple Plan cherish and care for their fans to a near unparalleled degree and at the recent JUNO awards, Simple Plan accepted the 2012 Allan Waters Humanitarian Award for their work through the Simple Plan Foundation which will soon reach the outstanding milestone of $1 million in donations toward young people in need and children facing life-threatening illness in Canada and abroad.

Joining Simple Plan on tour is We The Kings, whose current single ‘Say You Like Me’ from their latest album Sunshine State Of Mind (out now through Liberator) is racing up the US Singles Charts, having hit Top 30 with no sign of slowing down.

The double platinum selling predecessor ‘Check Yes Juliet’ won over Australian listeners with its catchy hooks and the band sold out two headline shows alongside their Soundwave appearances last year.

Rounding out the lineup will be local power-pop dance quintet The Never Ever, a group of exuberant Sydneysiders ready to get crowds moving with their boundless enthusiasm and danceable tunes.

It’s been just over 24 hours since tickets for the highly demanded ‘Flying Tour’ went on sale. Shows in Melbourne (x2), Brisbane (x2), Frankston, Adelaide, and Perth have completely sold out with second and final show dates announced in all cities to meet the screams of Sixty’s devoted army that are covering his Facebook wall.

Queensland was the first state to show it’s hunger for Uncle Six, with the under 18’s show selling out within minutes of going on sale. The 18+ gig at Brisbane’s HiFi Bar then followed suit selling out within an hour of tickets being available. A second Brisbane 18+ date has now been announced for Monday 11th of June at the HiFi to meet the needs of Sixty’s Queensland based devotees.

Adelaide’s all ages show at The Gov was the next to put up the sold out sign, tickets here were all but gone within two hours of hitting the streets. A second and final all ages date is now on sale for Thursday 21st of June at The Gov.

Sixty’s home town of Melbourne then came to the party with the 18+ show at the HiFi Bar done and sold by early afternoon, a second date has also been announced here for Thursday 14th of June.

Overnight tickets to Melbourne, Frankston, Wollongong and Perth shows were snapped up and sold out by 8am this morning. Once again Sixty has answered the cries for more shows putting on a second and final under 18’s show on Sunday 24th of June at the Astor Theatre in Perth.

The heat around Melbourne rapper 360 is absolutely undeniable at the moment. Is there anything that Sixty can’t do? His juggernaut continues to roll on into 2012 with album ‘Falling & Flying’ reaching certified Platinum sales status and current single ‘Boys Like You ft. Gossling’ achieving Double Platinum status within the space of a week. The album itself has remained in the ARIA top 50 charts for a massive 23 weeks and has been sitting pretty in the top 10 for the last seven weeks, currently holding strong at #6. Equally as impressive single ‘Boys Like You‘ has spent 10 weeks in the ARIA top 50 singles charts – the last six weeks in the top 10, currently sitting at #5.

It’s onwards and upwards for 360, who knows what else 2012 has in store for the man. One thing we can say for sure is that if you haven’t already seen the electric live stage performance this guy puts on then you better run out and grab tickets while you still can.

Illusive and Frontier Touring by arrangement with Artist Voice and Outpost Management are extremely excited to announce the highly anticipated national tour for Kimbra! The five-date interstate jaunt brings the jetsetting Kiwi back to her adopted Australian home in May for her first solo tour in close to a year. The intimate affair will see Kimbra bring her acclaimed live show to limited-capacity venues for what is set to be one of the hottest tickets in town.

Kimbra has spent the past year carving her name into the Australian psyche and has started to export her unique brand of Jazz infected POP to an eager global audience. During this time, she has released four hit singles – ‘Settle Down’, ‘Cameo Lover’, ‘Good Intent’ and ‘Two Way Street’ (all of which featured in triple j’s Hottest 100), a Platinum album – ‘Vows’, (she won the 2011 ARIA Award for Best Female Artist) joined forces with Gotye for ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ (the 8x Platinum colossus that has reached #1 in 11 countries and is currently streaking up the US Billboard chart), and taken the breath away from tens of thousands at Big Day Out, Splendour in the Grass and Parklife festivals. Oh, and she’s racked up tens of millions of views on YouTube in the process

Kimbra will be joined by another of the country’s most promising young artists – one Daniel Merriweather – who has taken the world by storm in recent years (including a Platinum album in the UK) with his impossibly smooth vocals and a little bit of help from long-time friend Mark Ronson. Now residing in New York, the ARIA Award winner returns home to give us a little taste of what’s to come from his long-awaited sophomore album.

In the months ahead, Kimbra will perform at some of SXSW’s most celebrated events before back-to-back US tours alongside Gotye and Foster the People. While she has already achieved more than most artists would dare dream of – it would appear as if it is only the beginning for the 21 year old Kimbra, whose trajectory is well and truly on track for worldwide superstardom. This is an opportunity that won’t be repeated anytime soon – don’t miss out!
