Bad news for streaming-savvy Swifties; Taylor, when she wasn’t selling 1.2+ million copies of her latest album, she quietly pulled all of her back-catalogue from Spotify.

The move came following the release of 1989 – her first step into the pop world – with the cat-loving popstar and her record label reportedly not happy with the music streaming sites payment for artists – estimated $0.007 per song play. They are the latest high profile examples of a large section of the industry that feel that streaming services are not yet in a position to fill the hole created by downloads.
