Rod Stewart Australian Tour 2015 – Adelaide Entertainment Centre

Rock legend Rod Stewart has announced that he will be returning to Australian shores in March 2015 for a string of arena shows. The tour comes off the back of an epic summer of sold-out shows, as well as a stint at this year’s Commonwealth Games which saw the 68-year-old perform for a worldwide audience of more than 1.5 billion viewers.

Melbourne’s favourite four-man folk-punk outfit The Smith Street Band have announced that they will play a string of headline dates across the country this November to promote their forthcoming album, Throw Me In The River.

Throw Me In The River, set for release on October 28 via Poison City Records, already has fans buzzing, and marks the third album to the band’s name. Hence, The Smith Street Band are celebrating in the best way they can – by playing seven shows, and bringing their unique brand of folk-punk to Australian fans.

Currently sharing the stage and touring the globe with One Direction, 5SOS’s UK arena tour has already sold out, so it’s pretty evident that Australian fans will have to get in quick if they want to secure a ticket.

Surrey alt-rock outfit You Me At Six are heading Down Under this September for a national tour alongside Sydney pop-punkers Tonight Alive. The bands will hit Aussie highways for a five-date run of shows, which kicks off Friday September 5 in Brisbane, trailing along the east coast, and coming to a halt in Adelaide six days later.

Melbourne singer-songwriter Vance Joy has announced that he will serenade his way across Australia over March 2015. His ten-date national tour comes off the back of his debut album, Dream Your Life Away, which was released last week, and will see the singer perform in major cities, as well as smaller towns.

The 1975 Australian Tour 2015 – Thebarton Theatre, Adelaide

If their ticket sales aren’t enough of an indication, the UK pop rockers just announced an Adelaide show for their January 2015 tour.

Following the cries and pleas of fans, who started an online petition, the awesome foursome will play an all-ages show at Thebarton Theater in Adelaide on Saturday January 10. Their visit marks the first headline show in the South Australian city since their Big Day Out appearance earlier this year.

Californian pop punk outfit Say Anything are returning to Aussie shores for a national tour this October.

Fronted by the always self-deprecating Max Bemis, the 6-piece will bring new material from the band’s sixth full-length, Hebrews, as well as tracks from their extensive backlog of “unclassifiable indie rock music.”

Controversial pop sensation Miley Cyrus will be swinging her wrecking ball Down Under this October for the Australian leg of her Bangerz tour.

The twerking, tongue-toting singer will hit Australian shores on Friday October 10 for a show at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. From there, Cyrus will take her tour to fans in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth.

The Amity Affliction Australian Tour 2014 – Thebarton Theatre, Adelaide

Aussie hardcore heavyweights The Amity Affliction have announced a national tour off the back of the release of their latest album Let The Ocean Take Me.

The local guys will play a string of shows in late August to early September in what will be their biggest headline tour to date. They will be joined by some big names, including UK metal-core act Architects, Atlanta outfit Issues, Long Island act Stray From The Path and Melbourne partycore dudes Deez Nuts.

British folk singer Mark Rosenberg, aka Passenger, has announced that he will be returning to Australian shores in 2015. Passenger will play a string of shows in January and February in Australian capital cities off the back of the release of his new album, Whispers – out Friday June 6.
