Sheppard Australian Tour October 2015 – Perth, Astor Theatre

Say Geronimo! Brisbane indie-pop act, Sheppard will return home this October to play a string of shows in support of their acclaimed Gold album, Bombs Away.

The title-holders of the highest-selling single of 2014, ‘Geronimo’, Sheppard will play nine shows across the country, including both major cities and regional dates, as well as a stint at the 2014 Deni Ute Muster. Yee-haw!

However, fans of the British singer-songwriter are in for a treat, because it has been revealed that Imogen Heap will release her new album, Sparks exclusively to Australian fans on iTunes this Friday September 5, ahead of a wider release of the album next month.

iHeartRadio Music Festival Cancelled

Just weeks after its announcement, organisers have pulled the plug on the iHeartRadio Music Festival Australia .

The one-off pop festival was set to take place on Saturday October 18 at Sydney’s Allphones Arena, and was supposed to feature the likes of Miley Cyrus and party rocker Redfoo. However, festival organisers decided to cancel the event after they were unable to secure a third headline act.

Broods Release New Album ‘Evergreen’

It has been less that two weeks since dropping their debut album Evergreen, but New Zealand brother-sister duo Broods are already climbing the music charts.

Released on August 22 through Capitol Records, Evergreen is the follow-up to the sibling’s self-titled EP. Currently sitting at No.5 on the ARIA Albums Chart, just below the Guardians Of The Galaxy: Awesome Mix Vol. 1, Broods’ latest release is reminiscent of London Grammar – dark, dance-y beats and ethereal vocals.
