Bloc Party front-man and house music aficionado Kele Okereke is headed to our shores next month, bringing his all new solo show built around his latest release, Trick. Last touring as part of Perth¡¯s Circo Festival II, this will be Kele¡¯s largest headline tour of Australia yet.

Turning to dance for his solo career wasn¡¯t as much of a leap as people may have thought, with Kele saying ¡°Most people know me as the singer in Bloc Party, but anyone that knows our music knows that we have always been very honest about our love of dance music¡±.

¡°I have always loved the inclusive and spiritual nature of house music¡ It¡¯s exciting seeing how the similarities of seemingly disparate worlds come together.¡±

Kele went solo after Bloc Party went on hiatus in 2012, releasing his first solo effort, The Boxer, shortly after to critical acclaim. His latest record, Trick, was released last October. Kele¡¯s 2015 Australian tour begins in Brisbane on the 13th of March, before heading to the Sunshine Coast, Melbourne, Ballarat, Sydney and finally finishing the string of shows in Perth.
