Glaswegian six-piece Belle and Sebastian are set to bring their signature indie-pop-rock sound to Australia early next year, after completing the New Zealand leg of St. Jerome¡¯s Laneway Festival.

The week-long tour will kick off at the Tivoli in Brisbane on the 28th of January, followed by shows at Sydney¡¯s Enmore Theatre on the 29th, Melbourne¡®s Palais Theatre on the 1st of February, and finishing up on the 3rd at Perth¡®s Astor Theatre.

The band has made some artistic movements in the creative industries over the past few years, with front-man Stuart Murdoch delving into the film scene. His directorial debut, God Help The Girl, was loosely based on the band¡¯s terrors and triumphs over the past eighteen years and even had a limited feature-release in Australian cinemas. It might be worth a watch before you see the real thing live!

Tickets go on sale at 10am, Monday the 20th of October.
