South London¡¯s DJ sensation SBTRKT has announced two extra sideshows amongst his Falls Festival appearances in Victoria, Tasmania and Byron Bay later this year. The British musical creation is the brainchild of sound engineer Aaron Jerome and has gained notoriety on Aussie shores for his innovative approach to the post-dubstep style and his collaborations with fellow DJ, Sampha.

The exclusive shows will be held in Melbourne¡¯s Forum Theatre on Wednesday January 7th and Sydney¡¯s Enmore on Thursday January 8th, celebrating the release of SBTRKT¡¯s latest EP, ¡®Wonder Where We Land¡¯ which dropped late last month. The perfect opportunity for fans down-under, SBTRKT¡¯s newest material is rumored to feature collaborations with Jessie Ware, A$AP Ferg and Vampire Weekend¡¯s Ezra Koenig. The album also hosts the much-anticipated Sampha/SBTRKT collaboration, ¡®Temporary View¡¯.

SBTRKT is all about keeping his stage presence focused on the music and regularly dons a Native American ceremonial-style mask to maintain his anonymity, preferring to let the music ¡°speak for itself¡±. It¡¯s been an impressive year for the illusive star in Australia and if you were bummed for not catching him at the Laneway Festival, Field Day and Southbound then this is your chance to get up close and personal with his sound (and see those Native American masks in the flesh).
