UK pop-rock quartet The 1975 has once-again proved their status as one of this year¡¯s biggest break out bands; selling out their show at Sydney¡¯s Hordern Pavilion.

Following the success of their brief stint at this year¡¯s Splendour In The Grass, the awesome foursome are set to return to Aussie shores in January 2015 for their headline tour.

Australian fans just can¡¯t seem to get enough of the band¡¯s unique brand of pop, which sounds like it came straight out of an ¡®80s rom-com, and tickets are selling out like hotcakes.

Hence, The 1975 will now be playing two shows in both Sydney and Melbourne. The four-piece will strut onto the stage Sunday January 11 at Melbourne¡¯s Festival Hall and Friday January 16 at Sydney¡¯s Hordern Pavillion.

The 1975 also heard the pleas of Adelaide fans, and added a show at Thebarton Theatre on Saturday January 10. No fan will be left wanting during the band¡¯s six-date run of shows.

Tickets to the additional shows in Sydney and Melbourne are on sale now. Keep in mind that the last batch sold out in under a week, so be sure to get in quick for your chance to be taken on a sonic journey of ¡®80s-esque pop hits, which will undoubtedly feature the likes of ¡®Chocolate¡¯ and ¡®Robbers¡¯ (nudge, nudge).
