Say Geronimo! Brisbane indie-pop act, Sheppard will return home this October to play a string of shows in support of their acclaimed Gold album, Bombs Away.

The title-holders of the highest-selling single of 2014, ¡®Geronimo¡¯, Sheppard will play nine shows across the country, including both major cities and regional dates, as well as a stint at the 2014 Deni Ute Muster. Yee-haw!

Sheppard recently sought to break into the global music market and mimic the success of ¡®Geronimo¡¯ overseas. Only four weeks in, and the six-piece have already hit the top 10 in Ireland, Italy and Poland, with the music video for the infectious track becoming the third most played video in Spain.

¡°The response in Europe was great. It was so much fun to go to countries where we were starting from the bottom again and winning over the fans one by one with our songs,¡± said vocalist Amy Sheppard. ¡°We are so pleased that we have the opportunity to duck home to see our Australian fans again before we head out to the states in November.¡±

The Sheppard freight train is showing no signs of slowing down, as the band¡¯s manager Michael Chugg is currently working with US co-manager Scooter Braun (Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepson) to bring the guitar-toting, Geronimo-shouting band to the states. They intend to match their Australian success Stateside.

Their October return will see the band playing in Wollongong, Bateau Bay and Perth for the first time since the release of Bombs Away. They will also return to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane; leaving a string of handclaps and fist-pumps in their wake.
