Christmas is coming early for Australian hip-hop fans, with legends Cypress Hill announcing that they¡¯ll be returning to our shores for a special tour this December. Visiting Perth, Sydney and Melbourne, this will be the band¡¯s major headling tour in Australia since 2010, outside of a few special shows in support of last year¡¯s Soundwave appearance.

The band¡¯s previous tours have all sold out quickly, and this looks to be no different. Though when you¡¯re a group of hip hop icons like B-Real, DJ Muggs, Sen Dog and Eric Bobo ¨C this is to be expected. The group have over 20 years of experience in the business and have racked up sales to the tune of more than 18 million records. Know as much for their love of all things green as they are for their notoriously energetic live shows, this will be one tour not to be missed by any hip hop heads.

The group¡¯s breakthrough 1993 album Black Sunday launched them into mainstream popularity due to the success of crossover hit Insane in the Brain, which also saw them secure that most holy of accolades ¨C the Simpsons guest spot! The crew is currently working on a follow-up to 2010¡¯s Rise Up, and 2012¡¯s collaborative EP Cypress x Rusko which saw them team up with dubstep producer Rusko.

This must-see-live act will be joined on their Australian tour by Perth¡¯s own Coin Banks. The Think of You MC has been garnering critical and popular praise since dropping his debut EP Heads in March of this year.
