Melbourne rapper Illy has announced that he will be hitting the road again this November and December for his national One For The Cities tour.

He skydived into this year¡¯s Splendour In The Grass, and now he will dive straight into another Aussie tour, playing six dates across the country. The ¡®Tightrope¡¯ MC will kick things off in Darwin, before moving through to Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and finally hanging up the mic in Adelaide.

The capital cities tour is the cherry on top of an epic twelve months for Illy, which saw his fourth album Cinematic debut at number four on the ARIA album chart, and earned him a spot on both the Groovin¡¯ The Moo and Splendour In The Grass lineup.

Illy will be joined on the road by Adelaide emcee on-the-rise Tkay Maidza, who will bring her rapid-fire flow and dance floor decimating production to fans. More guests are yet to be announced.

With regional dates booked up until October, Illy¡¯s One For The Cities tour will bring him back to the big smoke, for what will be the biggest headline performance of his career. However, punters needn¡¯t worry, Illy is keeping ticket prices low as a gesture to fans. At a reasonable $39.90, plus booking fee, fans will be able to see the local Aussie rapper in the flesh. An exclusive pre-sale will be available to fans from 9am on Tuesday August 12, while tickets to the general public go on sale at 9am on Thursday August 14.

¡°For real, I¡¯m SO pumped for these shows. It¡¯s a huge way to end a huge year¡± wrote Illy on Facebook. ¡°Be a part of it.¡±
