Word on the street is that Beyonc¨¦ and hubby Jay Z will be bringing their On The Run tour to Australia.

It is yet to be officially confirmed by either party, however, after appearing on a Ticketek waiting list on a post which wrote: ¡°Be the first to hear Beyonce and Jay Z coming to Australia ¨C login and register your interest¡± we are reading this sign as little nudge, nudge from a reliable industry source.

With two more stops on the current 19-date On The Run tour, the curtains will close in Paris (or will they?) ¨C just in time to coincide with the unveiling of Beyonce¡¯s HBO mini-series of the same name, which airs on September 20.

The joint tour came following their own solo tours; Beyonce¡¯s Mrs. Carter Show World Tour and Jay Z¡¯s Magna Carter World Tour. Lending its name from Jay Z¡¯s 2013 song, ¡®Part II (On The Run)¡¯, the tour stays true to its name, and follows an ¡°on the run¡± Bonnie and Clyde-esque theme. Whether they are on the run from the press, the haters, or even the music world, the pair leaves it up to the audience to decide.

According to MTV News, the pair impressed the audience with their ability to share the spotlight. ¡°Egos aside: They toggled, repeatedly, and mostly seamlessly from one megastar catalog to the other and took fan-favorites in surprising new directions ¨C ones that imbued them with pathos that hadn¡¯t been there before.¡± It was all smoke machines, sirens and strobe lights as the couple performed their 44-song setlist, which featured tracks such as ¡®Crazy In Love¡¯, ¡®Niggas In Paris¡¯ and ¡®Lift Off¡¯.

Proving once again why they are considered music¡¯s ultimate power couple, Queen Bey and Jay Z ¨C who took home close to $US99 million in 2013 ¨C were crowned the most powerful people in the music industry in January by Billboard.

Meanwhile, the ¡®Pretty Hurts¡¯ singer put rumours of the couple¡¯s alleged divorce to rest on Sunday, after being presented with the Vanguard Award at the MTV VMAs.

Following a 20-minute medley of her latest album, which included ¡®Mine¡¯, ¡®Haunted¡¯ and ¡®Jealous¡¯, Beyonce hugged and kissed Jay Z and their two-year-old daughter Blue.

Taking the mic, the teary singer said: ¡°I¡¯m so full. Thank you. I have nothing to say, but I¡¯m filled with so much gratitude. Thank go for this moment. I love you so much.¡± Turning to her husband and daughter, she added, ¡°Baby Blue, my beloved, I love you.¡±

If the recent VMA spectacle wasn¡¯t enough to quash rumours of Jay Z¡¯s alleged infidelity and the pair¡¯s impending divorce, Beyonce¡¯s mother, Tina Knowles, has offered her two words on the matter. ¨C ¡°Haters gonna be haters and there¡¯s nothing we can do about that.¡±

So keep your ears and eyes peeled, and practice your single ladies moves, because Beyonce and Jay Z could be coming to a city near you relatively soon Australia!
