Fast And Furious Actress Set To Be Wonder Woman

Gal Gadot

According to reports, Gal Gadot is set to trade fast cars for a sexy red outfit and a lasso.

Empire Magazine reports that Gadot has signed a deal to play the role of Wonder Woman in three films.

Gadot, who is known for her role as Gisele Harabo in The Fast and The Furious franchise (as well as being a previous winner of the Miss Israel competition) will also take part in the upcoming, but yet untitled Batman Vs Superman film.

Henry Cavill will return as Superman, with Oscar winner Ben Affleck casted as Batman. It will be first time ever the two superheroes will cross paths as DC Comics and Warner Brothers attempt to replicate Marvel’s success with the Avengers series.

Director Zack Snyder said that Gal’s casting as Wonder Woman is perfect for the first feature film incarnation of the legendary heroine.

Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe,” said Snyder.

“Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character.”

Filiming for Batman Vs Superman will start in Michigan later this year. Amy Adams is confirmed to be returning as Lois Lane, alongside Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne. The film is scheduled for release in 2016.
