Future Music Festival And Good Life Festival Announces Mammoth Partnership With The Mushroom Group

Good Life Festival 2014

There are only weeks to go until the Future Music Festival and it’s sister event Good Life Festival announces it’s 2014 line-up! But that doesn’t mean it ends there. Future Entertainment has also announced that they have formed a galactic alliance with The Mushroom Group, Australia’s largest independent music and entertainment group, who owns none other than Frontier Touring.

From September 1st, the duo will present the Future Music Festival and it’s baby sister, the Good Life Festival (a strictly under 18’s event) plus a number of solo artist tours and shows. However, that’s not all, with rumors of new ventures in 2014 set to shake the “festival and live music landscape” in Australia.

Michael Gudinski, Chairman of the Mushroom Group was very proud of the merger. “It is with great excitement we announce our involvement with Future Music and Good Life Festivals. Our involvement with the festivals will fill a gap within the Mushroom Group that has existed to date.

Future Music Festival was an early pioneer of the EDM genre and I believe our combined forces can take the festival to new heights, with an even greater focus on the fan experience and the addition of some exciting new innovations.”

Future Music Festival Director Brett Robinson said that the deal means there is bright future ahead for the festival. “The Future is very bright indeed! With the confidence of a brand new alliance the Mushroom Group, Future Music Festival is poised for its biggest ever season. The strength of the relationship will become apparent when we announce our 2014 line up in a few weeks time”

The first announcement of the venture is scheduled for mid September to coincide with the Future Music Festival 2014 line-up. The Good Life Festival will be expanded to Brisbane and Sydney next year, following on from shows in Melbourne and Sydney. The line-up will be announced in the coming months.

Porter Robinson – Splendour In The Grass Sideshows

Following the success of this year’s Coachella Festival, Porter Robinson will remain on this festival high for Australia’s Splendour in the Grass. In addition to his Friday set at the festival, Porter Robinson will also be performing sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne with a whole new sound.

Known for his upbeat, electronic dance DJ sets, the American Producer will be trying something different for Australian shows off the back of his debut album Worlds. Instead of sampling other musicians, Robinson’s sets will only feature his own samples and tracks, with live instrumental performances.
