The wait is over!!! Big Day Out 2014 line-up has officially been released to the public. After months of teasers, gossips, rumours and tweets, we have finally got the ¡°line-up to end all line-ups!¡±.

Next year, Big Day Out will be more spectacular with the arrival of four megastars of our generation. Each will bring their ¡°A-game¡± for the hundreds of thousands of adoring Australian fans!

So let¡¯s begin shall we? For months there have been rumours, but now we can safely confirm that Pearl Jam will be headlining Big Day Out festival next year. Sydney will be especially lucky as Pearl Jam will play different sets at each of the Sydney shows. Pearl Jam are back to the best form of their music lives following the release of their 10th album, Lightning Bolt which will be out for music lovers everywhere on the 14th of October. Meanwhile their smashing single, ¡°Mind Your Manners¡± has been dominating the charts!

Joining them will be Arcade Fire, who will be visiting Australia for the first time since the 2008 BDO shows. Since then, they¡¯ve won a Grammy Award for the 2010 studio album, The Suburbs and they are preparing their fans with more hope, with their latest album set to be out on October 29th.

Next in line we have BLUR. It¡¯s been 16 years since the quartet of Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree was in Australia. They will be anxious to play some of their best beats for Australians! So be prepared to rock out!

Finally, this man needs no introduction¡ Snoop Lion (Or should we just stick to the original Snopp Dogg) will be joining the Big Day Out line-up for the very first time, ready to perform his biggest hits! He will also be bringing with him, one of his best pals and fellow musicians Major Lazer, for his first BDO tour as well!

But that¡¯s not it people! Joining this stellar cast of talent, we have Sweden¡¯s Steve Angello, Australia¡¯s own Flume, Northlane, Ghost, Portugal, The Naked And Famous, Tame Impala and Cosmic Psychos! Of course there are many more, but we¡¯re running out breath telling you about this awesome line-up!

So now, what about tickets? Well, for the general public, Gold Coast will have theirs available on Wednesday 7th August, Sydney will get theirs on Thursday 8th August, while finally Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth will get theirs on the 9th of August. All tickets go on sale at 9am and will be available from bigdayout.com.

For those wanting the exclusive pre-sale souvenir tickets, you can purchase them from General Pants Co. from 7am, 1st August 2013.

Finally, Big Day Out members have an exclusive online pre-sale on Friday the 2nd of August. However to be part of this exclusive deal, you have to sign up at bigdayout.com/membership before 2pm Thursday 1st August 2013. And tickets sales will close on 9am Sunday 4th August or when sold out.

Tickets will cost $185 each. If you¡¯re looking for something more exciting, there is the ¡°Like A Boss¡± package, which will give you a Boss main stage viewing areas access, Boss entryways, Boss amenities, Boss gifts and more Boss-like stuff. Those tickets are valued at $285.
