Whitsunday Sunday Calling Festival Is Back In 2013!

Live Events and Promotions are pleased to announce that the two-day music pumping Whitsunday Calling Music Festival s back!

Taking place from the Labor Day weekend of October 5th and 6th, the festival will take place in the beautiful pastoral land of the corner of Cannonvalley Road and Richardson Road, in the very heart of the gorgeous Whitsunday Islands.

The exceptional line of artists and bands were specifically selected so that all genres of music can be played – as well as to attract everyone to the biggest party of the year.

The impressive line-up to this exciting two-day party includes, The Angels, The Dynosaurs featuring Mark Evans (AC/DC and Heaven), Ash Grunwald featuring Rob Hirst (from Midnight Oil) ,Graham “Buzz” Bidstrup (The Angels, GANGgajang, The Party Boys), The Radiators, Bondi Cigars, Funky Love Tank and One Dread.

The all-ages festival will kick off at 12:00pm on Saturday, before concluding 11.30pm that night. The party will start up all over again the next day, with another 12.00pm kick off.

Up to 35,000 people will be able to attend the smashing party, which will be just be the start of an array of festivals at the Whitsunday Islands, including the Show & Shine, a Country Festival and a Blues Festival.

All the proceeds from the party will be donated to the Whitsunday Community Relief Fund, a locally based charity that assists locals in the community who may be experiencing financial hardship during these tough times.

If you feel like camping (two-man tent) its $20.00 per night, with campervans priced at $35.00 per night and buses are $45.00.

Olly Murs’ ‘Never Been Better Tour’ is coming to Australia

Internationally acclaimed UK pop star Olly Murs has excited Aussie fans with the news he will be returning in August for a nation-wide tour. Promoting his fourth album Never Been Better, Murs will kick off the tour in Perth before heading to Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney.

Porter Robinson – Splendour In The Grass Sideshows

Following the success of this year’s Coachella Festival, Porter Robinson will remain on this festival high for Australia’s Splendour in the Grass. In addition to his Friday set at the festival, Porter Robinson will also be performing sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne with a whole new sound.

Known for his upbeat, electronic dance DJ sets, the American Producer will be trying something different for Australian shows off the back of his debut album Worlds. Instead of sampling other musicians, Robinson’s sets will only feature his own samples and tracks, with live instrumental performances.
