Acclaimed British band, Alt-J (?) will be heading back Down-Under this July for another rocking set of tour dates.

The band will be playing at some of the biggest venues around the country, starting with a performance at Challenge Stadium, in Perth on July 27th. The band will then travel cross-country to Festival Hall in Melbourne on the 30th and the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on the 31st.

It follows the huge success that¡¯s been trailing the band since the certified Gold album, An Awesome Wave, which has peaked at number 9 in the ARIA charts. More so, the album made three appearances in Triple J¡¯s Hottest 100 countdown of 2012, including an impressive 3rd place finish with Breezeblocks.

This is the second visit this year, when the band was part of the Laneway Festival that was a massive success with music lovers coming in droves. Their performances were so popular that it led the band to announce a surprise headline show at Sydney¡¯s Metro Theatre.

And within minutes, the tickets to the event were sold out. And it will come to no surprise that this time around fans will just have to be as quick to grab those tickets.

The band¡¯s concerts have received glaring acclaim from music critics, with Drum Media saying ¡°the band were in their element, flawlessly shifting from song to song without batting an eyelash, the crowd equally mesmerized and in a state of sub-hypnosis¡±

While Time Out Sydney said the band were ¡°perfectionists¡± and the show navigated all of Mercury-winner An Awesome Wave¡¯s tracks, the carefully crafted choral harmonies and perfectly plucked melodies landed just right with the crowd¡±
