Due to a series of unfortunate flight delays, Afrojack has had to cancel the Melbourne leg of the Breakout Music Festival. Moments ago, the organisers of the event released this statement on their official event page.

The Getaway Plan – “Requiem” National Album Tour – Adelaide

In 2009 The Getaway Plan announced an indefinite hiatus and the future of the young band was in doubt. In a whirlwind they had become one of the most talked about upcoming rock bands in the nation but the rapid pace of their success had taken its toll. After going their separate ways for a period to focus on other musical endeavours (The Amity Affliction, Young Heretics, Deez Nuts), in November 2010 Matthew Wright (Vocals, Guitar, Keyboards), Clint Owen Ellis (Guitar), Dave Anderson (Bass) and Aaron Barnett (Drums) announced live on Triple J their intention to reform and record a new album.

Red Hot Chili Peppers Autralian Tour Locked In For 2012

Flea, the bassist and co-founding member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers has confirmed that they will definitely be touring Australia in 2012 on the back of their new album “Im With You“.

The band is currently performing shows around the world and recently Triple M (Australian radio station) had the opportunity to catch up with him at the MTV Europe Video Awards. Flea went on to say… “We are coming, I looked at my tour schedule and it’s there next year. I don’t know the dates, I’m sorry, but we are coming. Without doubt, we will come … and rock … like untethered beasts”

Remember The Days Festival, Adelaide’s leading under 18’s music event is back again in 2012 with an incredible line up and a long list of attractions!

The organisers have promised 2012 to be the biggest year yet in terms of artists performing, area used at the old Adelaide Gaol and ultimately the overall attendance at the event. “Tickets are selling faster than last year and we are already through our early bird tickets” said Robert Kadamani one of the organisers behind the event.
